Hospitality Skills Training at Wukirsari Tourism Village
In August 2019, Eastparc Hotel Yogyakarta in collaboration with Bank Central Asia (BCA) provided training for residents of Wukursari Tourism Village, Imogiri, Bantul, Yogyakarta. The training provided is knowledge about hospitality, considering that the village has many guest houses, so it is necessary to know basic knowledge about hospitality. The following is the training provided to residents and managers in the Wukusari Tourism Village:
- Making Bed
Good bed-making techniques and according to star hotel standards.
- Food Hygiene and Safety Training
Identify whether the food stored in the kitchen by the guest house managers is safe and hygienic.
- Cooking Class
Sharing the knowledge of cooking in the style of a five-star hotel.
Clean Water Aid for Tepus Gunung Kidul
On Tuesday, July 2 2019, PT Eastparc Hotel Tbk provided clean water assistance to residents of Tepus Village, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta. The activity was carried out in commemoration of the 5th Anniversary of Eastparc Hotel Yogyakarta. The clean water assistance is expected to help local residents who have water difficulties due to the dry season.
Curation of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) of Yogyakarta City
At the end of 2018, Eastparc Hotel Yogyakarta also supported the work program of the Yogyakarta City Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), especially in the field of Economics. The Yogyakarta City Bapeda has more than 200 fostered MSMEs. The MSMEs consist of various types of businesses and one of them is a food business, especially market snacks.
At the moment of Curating the MSME Meal or the MSME food quality assessment, Eastparc Hotel Yogyakarta delegated Gatot Santoso as Executive Chef to be one of the curators or judges who gave assessments and evaluations of food quality. Through this process, it is hoped that SMEs in this type of food business will gain knowledge on how to maintain quality, cleanliness, reduce production costs, and other things that must be considered to improve the quality of their products.
Promotion and Training of Jatimulyo Tourism Village
Eastparc Hotel Yogyakarta collaborated with Wista Jatimulyo Village, Girimulyo, Kulon Progo in June 2016. Meetings between the village and the hotel have been held for approximately 4 meetings. The meeting discussed the partnership program to be carried out. There are several programs carried out by Eastparc Hotel Yogyakarta in order to advance the Jatimulyo Tourism Village, namely:
- Training Program
The program aims to develop and improve:
- Knowledge of Jatimulyo Village HR, especially in the hospitality sector.
- The performance of the HR in serving guests at the Jatimulyo Village tourist attraction.
- Good attitude and personality in providing the best service to guests of Jatimulyo Village tourist attraction.
- The ability of the Jatimulyo Village HR in the field of marketing and publication of tourism potential through digital marketing.
- Maintenance Program
Eastparc Hotel Yogyakarta carries out regular maintenance of tourist objects according to the needs of the Jatimulyo Village in order to improve clean, good, and comfortable facilities for visitors who visit these attractions. Some of the things that become the main focus, are:

Eastparc Hotel Yogyakarta also promoted Jati Mulyo Tourism Village by utilizing social media such as Facebook and Instagram and displaying photos of Jati Mulyo Tourism Village on Eastparc Hotel Yogyakarta’s 2017 calendar merchandise.
